The students have developed a product platform design for ultrasonic inspection machines, which can be configured based on the machine-specific requirements.

As a result, improvements in following areas have been identified:

 

• Reduction in Design Engineering Efforts

• Reduction in Inventory

• Increase in Commonality Index

• Reduction in Machine delivery time
